Fire Performance

Acoustic panels using a Basotect™ G+ melamine foam core are supplied as composite products, consisting of a Basotect™ acoustic core combined with a fabric finish.

Core Material Fire Rating (EN 13501-1)

The reaction-to-fire performance of Basotect™ G+ depends on the material thickness.
Independent testing to EN 13501-1 confirms the following classifications:

5–15 mm: B-s1, d0
16–20 mm: C-s2, d0
21–80 mm: C-s2, d0
81–200 mm: C-s3, d0

This indicates controlled fire behaviour, with no flaming droplets (d0) across all tested thicknesses.
(Test reports are available on request.)

Fabric Fire Ratings

A range of fire-rated acoustic fabrics is available.

As standard, fabrics supplied meet a minimum Class B fire rating, with alternative fire-rated fabrics available on request.
Fabric fire test certification can be provided upon request.

Composite System – Important Information

The complete composite system (core + fabric) is not fire tested as standard, and no declared EN 13501-1 classification is claimed for the assembled product.

As with most acoustic composite products, the final reaction-to-fire performance depends on the core thickness, fabric type, adhesive system, fixing method, substrate, and air gap, and may differ from the individual component ratings.

Where a declared reaction-to-fire classification is required, testing of the complete composite system can be arranged on request, subject to scope, lead time, and cost.

Panels can be installed via Soudal Fix All (High Tack) adhesive, impaling pins, or self-adhesive backing, depending on the chosen substrate and wall finish.

Imprint is ideal for offices, schools, reception areas, creative studios, and branded interiors. It’s the perfect solution where both visual design and acoustic performance are priorities — such as feature walls, signage, or art installations.

Standard production lead time is 10–12 working days, with faster options available subject to scheduling.
Panels are pallet-shipped for maximum protection.

A 1-year manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
